At Nairobi Sanctuary for Stray Animals, we believe every animal deserves a second chance.
Founded with a deep love for animals and a commitment to compassion, we rescue stray, abandoned, and vulnerable animals from the streets and unsafe environments. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where they can heal—both physically and emotionally—before finding their forever homes.

The NSSA was founded out of a deep concern for the vulnerable animals in our community. We witnessed firsthand the overwhelming number of strays, the overcrowded shelters, and the urgent need for a place where animals could heal, be loved, and ultimately find their way home. We built this shelter to be that sanctuary – a place of hope and healing, dedicated to giving every animal the future they deserve.I Every animal that comes through our doors is treated like family until they find one of their own.
